In a fit of madness I decided to sell one of my most favorite lenses. I mean little known and underestimated PC Micro NIKKOR 85mm f/2.8 D with its awesome TILT-SHIFT function. Because of my passion for photographing of the people I very much appreciate the tilt function. In my opinion it is one of the most versatile photographic lens. Here I’m going to list its biggest advantages.

1. Focal length of 85mm makes this very nice portrait lens.
2. Tilt allows changing the focusing plane, what I believe makes photographs unique character.
3. Swing makes this a great lens for architecture.
4. Apperture of f/45 (!) in combination with good resolution and sharpness make the perfect lens for product photography.

Okay, so to summarize we have a combination of great portrait-architecture-product lens, or something like taht ;) To conclude, the potential buyer asked me to send him a few sample shots. I attached the lens to my Nikon D810, made few portraits, including two below and send to the buyer in the end. As if out of spite he bought the lens ;-)
